CLI

The Fujin CLI is a thin layer over the shadcn CLI. Everything it installs can also be installed with npx shadcn add @fujin/<name>.

create

Scaffold a new app from a template.

npx fujin create my-app --template next

init

Configure an existing project: runs shadcn init if there is no components.json, registers @fujin, installs @fujin/theme and @fujin/utils.

npx fujin init

add

npx fujin add button field

Names without a namespace resolve to @fujin. Pass --overwrite, --dry-run and --path through to shadcn.

list

npx fujin list --type ui --category forms

info

Prints the agent-facing documentation for an item: when to use it, props, pitfalls and examples.

npx fujin info field

mcp

Writes MCP configuration for your editor.

npx fujin mcp init --client claude

doctor

Checks React, Tailwind and components.json for problems.

npx fujin doctor
